What types of wheels does Tellure Rota offer?

Tellure Rota manufactures a complete range of industrial wheels: rubber wheels (standard and non-marking), polyurethane wheels (TR, TR-ROLL, Vulkollan®), thermoplastic elastomer wheels, polyamide 6 solid wheels, cast iron wheels, pneumatic wheels and puncture-proof wheels. Diameters range from 50 mm to 400 mm with load capacities from 40 kg to over 1,500 kg per wheel.

How do I choose the right wheel for my application?

The main criteria are: required load capacity per wheel (daN), floor type (smooth, rough, debris-covered), operating speed, temperature range, and the presence of chemicals or water. For soft/uneven floors choose pneumatic or soft rubber wheels; for heavy loads on smooth floors choose polyurethane or cast iron; for food/clean areas choose non-marking rubber or thermoplastic.

What is the difference between TR and Vulkollan® polyurethane?

Vulkollan® is a premium polyurethane elastomer offering the highest load capacity and abrasion resistance available on the market — ideal for very heavy industrial applications. TR is Tellure Rota’s cost-effective cast polyurethane with excellent performance for the majority of industrial uses. TR-ROLL is optimized for ergonomic rolling with reduced push/pull forces.

Do Tellure Rota wheels come with ball bearings?

Many wheel models are available with precision ball bearings for heavy duty, continuous use, or high speeds. Other versions use plain bores, roller bearings, or threadguard bushings. Each product page lists the available hub options.

Are non-marking wheels available?

Yes. Tellure Rota offers a full range of non-marking (anti-track) rubber and thermoplastic wheels that do not leave marks on floors — essential for hospitals, hotels, food industry, warehouses with polished floors, and retail environments.
