Castors compliant with EN 1004

Fixed castors (rigid) roll in a straight line only and are typically installed at one end of a trolley to provide directional stability. Swivel castors rotate 360° around a vertical axis, allowing free movement in every direction. A typical trolley uses two fixed and two swivel castors for the best combination of maneuverability and tracking.

Tellure Rota offers several bracket lines: NL (pressed steel, light/medium duty), NLX (reinforced pressed steel), M (medium-heavy duty), P (heavy duty welded steel), EP (extra heavy duty), EE/EEG (ergonomic twin-ball-race top plate), and dedicated brackets for pallet trucks, forklifts, and mobile scaffolding. Stainless steel (INOX) versions are available.

Tellure Rota castors are available with: no brake, tread brake (front lock — blocks only the wheel), total lock brake (blocks both wheel and swivel rotation), and directional lock. Pedal, lever, and central-brake configurations are offered.

Castor load capacity depends on the wheel (diameter, tread material, bore), the bracket, the bearing, and the operating speed. Our range spans from ~40 kg per castor for institutional models to over 3,000 kg for the heavy-duty EE HD series with Vulkollan®. Each product page specifies the load capacity at 0 km/h, 3 km/h, 4 km/h and 6 km/h.
